2018 Colts do it again!

The Bunbury Football Club colts went back to back in great display from the future league footballers of the club.

After an even start to the game Bunbury pushed hard in the closing minutes of the first quarter to registered consecutive goals to take a 4.2 (26) to 1.3 (9) lead into quarter time.

Following some early scoring by Busselton and tenacious football all round Bunbury again stretched the lead through goals to Symington, Davis and Rigby who were all finishing strong mid field work. At half time the score was 9.3 (57) to 6.6 (42).

In the third quarter Bunbury slammed on seven goals to 2 to take control of the game. Playing of the wing eventual Best on Ground Jett Rigby scored 3 for the quarter while key forward Zac Birch slotted 2 to help the boys take a 16.9 (104) to 8.7 (55) lead at three quarter time.

The final term saw Bunbury run out eventual 20.10 to 10.10 winners to take their third colts premiership in 5 years.

Dropping only 2 games for the season the team also had the Colts Leading Goal scorer Jayen Farrant, Colts Medallist Kai Luzi and Coaches Player of the Colts Competition Tom O'Brien.

Congratulations to coach Troy Hollands and his support crew who worked through challenging list managed with the Year 11/12 group who also took our the Premiership in their grade.
