2018 Ladies Premiers

The Bunbury Football Club Women's team have reclaimed the SWFL Women's Premiership title with a hard fought victory over the Harvey Bulls.

After a fast start that saw Harvey claim the lead at quarter time the Bunbury girls lifted their game to gradually take control and wrestle the win away from Harvey.

Best players for Harvey were Fleur Parker and Zoe Worsfold.

For Bunbury the efforts of stalwarts in Nola Marino Medallist Carly Allen, along with the experienced Kristy Larsen combined well with the young legs of Casara Hill, Georgia Mahony, Lilly Taylor, Chantelle Hannagan and eventual best on the ground Kloe Bassett who gathered possessions at will all day.

Final scores were 5.3 (33) to 3.6 (24).

Congratulations go to all the girls who represented the club in 2018 and coach Sean Creasey for their undefeated season. It has been a great year for the Women's Team as they took out a clean sweep of all SWFL awards for the season.
