The game is played in all sorts of conditions during the season so out they went in the rain

Bunbury Football Club girls showed they were serious about wanting to step up this season getting out in the weather over the weekend as they get ready for the upcoming inaugural season of South West Football Women's League.

A "few drops of rain" didn't bother then as Trish Lake and her assistant Dwayne Partington put them through their paces.

The ladies have been mixing up their training between joining the men's pre season, skills drills and undertaking beach work as they prepare for their first pre-season game.

Look out for the ladies in 2017!
